Is anyone here a Deist? (believer in God, but not in theology)

I represent the rare breed of person when it comes to religious belief. I believe that God exists, but not in any of the theology that has come with most major monotheistic religions. Why?

1. The Universe must be the creation of supernatural elements, (i.e., God), for celestial dust and stars could not have formed on their own without the creation of the laws of physics. A creator generated these laws of physics, and hence, the Universe came about as a result of it. Laws of physics cannot, in my mind, spontaneously take hold without some sort of outside intervention.

2. I do not prescribe to theology because theology was designed by men. No one has ever heard the word of God, so I deem revelations to be near-impossible.

Thoughts?

I am. I wouldn't consider Deism to be "a rare breed" though. A lot of people share the thought. They just aren't open to it because it doesn't matter, or they don't know the term for it. I think a lot of people that say "I'm not religious, but I'm spiritual" are actually Deists.

We don't truly understand how the universe was formed yet but I am pretty sure that it was not created by any sort of god or god-like figure.

I'm a registered protestant and I pay the church tax but I'm a true atheist. I only believe in reality. In my small world you're either religious or not religious. Deist are not better than any other religious fanatic.

Existence Gods makes absolutely no sense

I honestly don't know. I'm not a follower of religion (anymore). I think there is a God, but I'm not even sure if it's founded or just because I was taught to. So, again, I have no idea.
