I can astral project easily by just waking up earlier than normal then going back to sleep. But if you could do that as easily as me would it be a waste of time to you or are you just not interested?

Just seeing why people dont do it when its so easy.

Remember to turn off the alienware before bed. In all seriousness I've never had this happen to me.

I've been a fan of astral projection for likely a decade or more, great band.

Dancing Galaxy is my favourite album.

I did a bunch of practicing for astral projection. That may be why I can do a sleep induced OBE so easily. I just wake up 2 hours before I normally do because thats when you are in your REM sleep. When I go back to sleep I become aware of my body then I can move out of it and go wherever I want.

Maybe your body has to be used to the concept first then it does it own its own after that.

I meant what do you do while projecting. But it seriously sounds like you are describing lucid dreaming.

Another trick to achieve what he is saying is to regularly ask yourself if you are dreaming. If you do it enough, you will begin to while you dream. Once this happens, you become aware that you are dreaming and can do whatever you want.

Its different than lucid dreaming. In lucid dreaming the dream could mean anything. With astral projection you start from your body at your house and can do whatever you want. Also with astral projection you know you will be conscious so you can make your mind up before you even start the experience.

I try to go as far as I can. You never know what you will encounter. You can do whatever your mind lets you. I usually just visit people around the neighborhood.

That is a form of dreaming or hallucination right? You can't actually project your mind or body outwards.

I've heard it referred to as directed dreaming.

Its just a different type of dream. I'd say a regular dream is like a movie. An astral projection is like a video games because you are in control of your body.

I also lucid dream naturally, quite a lot actually. The downside is its all random and I have no real control over when it happens.

sometimes I enter a near state of lucid dreaming, but dont have control over my body. It feels like I am laying in my bed and somebody is pinning me down. It can be quite scary.

the classic test for astral projection is to leave a book on a high shelf and have a subject project to it and tell researchers what book it is.

some of the worlds greatest "psychics" have taken the test.

none have ever passed.

I find saying loud obvious statements help me: like "increase lucidity now". I get more in the dream universe and can fly, telekinesis, meet Batman etc.
