Is being a man better than being a woman?

Do you think being a man is better than being a woman?  If so... why?  I think so.  Men are less likely to get raped, to be used as sex objects and they can lift heavier boxes.

Considering how women are relegated to second class citizens in a lot of countries, being a man seems better. Also being a man seems to give you more unearned privileges and opportunities in life.

Men have to:

eat healthy and actually work out.

Women have to:

eat healthy(or less of they're fat/obese)
.. and they basically let their hormones do the rest.. yeaaaah.

Don't really know. I guess as a guy I don't bleed monthly, so uh, yeah... there's that. 

In regards to lived experiences, I'm pretty sure that the average life of a man is much more bearable (and hence, I suppose, "better") than the average life of a woman. Women in general are far more likely to be raped, sexually assaulted, sexually harassed, objectified, and abused in both platonic and non-platonic relationships. And then there's the fact that, in many parts of the world, women who exercise their bodily autonomy through abortion, contraception, etc. are demonized.

Many men are facing problems as a result of being their gender, too, of course. But in general, women have it worse.
