What is your opinion on being called a nice guy? Do you often get called that alot by the opposite sex? And do you think that's a good or a bad sign? (Same appleis to females being called "nice girls" too).

There is that phrase "nice guys finish last," but I disagree with it. Girls may seem to want to go for the badass rebel of a guy in junior high/high school or even early in college, but most grow out of that. It's a compliment to be called a nice guy. Most girls do appreciate that...myself included. :)t3hrubikscubeI second all of this :)

I think the problem is most people "appreciate" it in the sense they walk all-over you....
As a self-professed "nice guy" who gets called a nice guy all the time, I can say to you that it has done no good for me in life.....
There is that phrase "nice guys finish last,t3hrubikscubeits true, and girls enjoy the longer finish ;)
I get made fun of for looking very intimidating and being very nice and friendly to everyone.
I guess girls like that.
It's good to a degree. It's often that a man thinks he's being victimized by girls when he's really just a sissy. Don't be a door mat, and you'll be better off.

True. Show some back bones men. Give the ladies a reason or two to want you. Make her work and chase you a little... enshrining a lady on a pedestal just won't do.
Only if you could balance it. You can't be too nice or you'll get walked all over on. Plus being labeled as a "nice guy" might be unattractive for most females. If you already have a gf or a wife or a stable income, then that's when you can be a nice guy all you want.

I was gonna say all of that as well (except for the "myself included" part, lol).
But the problem is, like you said, women love the bad guy in their teens/early 20's. So men become asses. Then when you decide that you now want a "good guy", it's mostly too late; all the men have been practicing being bad for 10 years now!
Men and women sadly are often on different pages (and it's unrealistic to want a man to be bad, then start being good when women grow out of wanting bad guys).
It's bad. Cause girls only date guys that treat them like crap :( It's true but sad. th3warr1or
The only girls I see doing that, don't really seem like the type worth going after.
It's technically a compliment, but it probably means your likelihood of getting any action is significantly lower than someone who isn't a "nice guy".megageneI'll go with this answer. You may end up being the type of guy that is always in the friend zone.

I know this is true from experience. It's just terrible.

See I put it like this. There's nothing wrong with being a nice guy, but there is something wrong with being TOO nie of a guy and unfortunately if you're called a "nice guy" you are being too nice. This will make u fail at getting 99.9% of girls because they see you as a little ***** rather than a man unfortunately. I've learned this very well from personal experience.
Especially since girls get more pleasure from sex than guys do.[QUOTE="_en1gma_"][QUOTE="get-ka12"]Girls want a man to have a sexy side to him as well, if he is completely uninterested in sex, then you are wasting the girl's time.TBoogy
?!?
Its true because of nerve endings they feel it more then us.Being called a nice guy is a death sentence. I was hanging out with a girl for about3 weeks, and everything was going well, as best I could tell. I hadn't tried to get in her pants, and was as gentlemanly as I could be. This woman did a complete 180, and left me hanging for 3 days without so much as a phone call. I finally had to drag it out of the friend who set us up as to why this happened. Her exact words: "He's too nice". OK. Here's my idea; go out with an a-hole guy who beats you until you look like a run-over bicycle, and then tell me whether you want a "nice guy". I'd wager thata young lady's tune would change quite a bit then. So, if a girl says you're too nice, tell her to jog on, and wait for someone who appreciates a genuinely good person.
