knowledge creates more problems than it solves. i think i was a lot happier when i was a kid, not knowing anything. can't really say the same for now...False
knowledge solves problems, and keeps some problems from even happening
knowledge is juicy, y'all should collect as much as possible
pretend you are Mario and knowledge is shiny gold coins, now go for it

LOL you just don't know how to juggle all the knowledge you've obtained
everything is still in the junk drawer, over time, you'll sort it out and be glad you have it

are you honestly more happy now knowing that everyone around you is suffering and everyone you know will someday die? isn't it a little unsettling that most of the world is comprised of heartless knaves? isn't a little upsetting that you might not be the person you want to be by life's end? or the person you need to be for your families sake? don't you feel i infinite weight of pressure to do something meaningful in such a very low finite amount of time? it's really depressing ...[QUOTE="TheFlameProof"][QUOTE="I_Am_Sexy"]knowledge creates more problems than it solves. i think i was a lot happier when i was a kid, not knowing anything. can't really say the same for now... I always knew of suffering and death, even when I was young, it just seemed to be part of life to me, so the way to handle it is to just focus on what makes you happy, death will come when it wants to and you can't stop it, so why waste time thinking about it, just live
I'm already the person I want to be, and I'm already good enough for my family
I feel no pressure to do anything I don't want to do, I overcame that garbage already LOL my life is mine, no one elses

i can't say the same for myself and i still think i'd be a lot more happier if i didn't know the world and life in general was innately terrible. i think you can find happiness with knowledge it's just that it gets harder to find that happiness with the more knowledge you attain. but then again it's all dependent on what kinds of knowledge you're stuffing in your head so yeah...[QUOTE="I_Am_Sexy"][QUOTE="TheFlameProof"]are you honestly more happy now knowing that everyone around you is suffering and everyone you know will someday die? isn't it a little unsettling that most of the world is comprised of heartless knaves? isn't a little upsetting that you might not be the person you want to be by life's end? or the person you need to be for your families sake? don't you feel i infinite weight of pressure to do something meaningful in such a very low finite amount of time? it's really depressing ...TheFlameProof

LOL
maybe study things that bring joy to your heart, that could help
believe me, what I said about the junk drawer is true, I used to be there, life was a jumbled mess, but you'll sort it all out eventually and you'll be glad you learned what you did

i'll let this wrought in my mind for a bit and then i'll come back to you.I've never thought so......
Though I think it's not the knowledge that bothers you but having to deal with things on your own....
That's kind of a vague question. It would depend on what kind of knowledge you're talking about, what level of knowledge, how you would go about defining knowledge, assessing how said knowledge has impacted you and/or your environment, and other such factors.
I can't say I'd be able to speak on knowledgeability as a whole as categorically good or bad, since I'd guess that not everyone has the same definition of knowledge, nor has the same impacts of knowledge kept in mind when looking at the benefits versus the disadvantages. More than anything else, I'd guess that people here and in other places would have varying definitions as to what's good and bad, so I'm not even going to bother trying to touch that issue. For me to choose either good or bad for this question would be an arbitrary answer that can't always be applicable for the given query.
It is very true, but beingknowledgeable is worth the problems.cousin_eddy
This.
The statement is true, but I think it's worth it. I'm a firm believer in being as intelligent/knowledgeable as possible.
