Is Cold Weather Good For ANYTHING?

I honestly can't think of anything positive about cold weather that is not a matter of opinion. Weather is terrible where I'm at. When I say cold weather, I don't mean snowing, but a cold temperature. Just think of everything you do when it's warm out, and ask yourself if you would do it at 20 degrees fahrenheit.

It's excellent for movie settings...."The Thing" or "Let The Right One In" wouldn't be the same if they were shot in the tropics.

If there isn't snow outside then it should be 70+ degrees.

Well, if it's also raining out, it gives you a great excuse to do absolutely nothing all day. :P

I don't like cold weather but it is good for alot of things...

Really cold weather changes your perception of what cold is, which I guess is a good thing.

I used to think that -2C was cold, but after experiencing -20C for the last couple months, -2C is damn heat wave.

Cold weather this year mostly killed off the Mountain Pine Beetle infestation that was messing up Alberta forests, so that's a good thing.

Pond hockey, fresh powdered snow, building ice castles.

I prefer the warm weather, but there's lots of good things about the cold, too.

Last week was cold but this week so far has been warm!:o

Cold weather is great for hopping into bed with your girlfriend. The two of you huddle under the blankets and can watch movies, drink hot chocolate, etc.remmbermytitans

Cold weather makes me feel happy.

I love cold weather.

well i can run better in colder weather than in hot weather, but that might just be me

Colder air = denser air, ie, more oxygen

Thus, Colder air makes internal combustion engines more powerful, and use less gas.

So Colder Air = More Horsepower

Snowboarding, and also, I hate living in New Jersey (Most people think it gets too cold... I think it gets too hot).

I love it because I live in Florida, so it never gets too cold.
