Is fish meat?

Well is it? I know vegetarians who eat fish and still clasify themselves as vegetarians and people who eat fish on fridays during Lent because they say it isnt meat. If it isnt meat then what is it?

Personally I think that it's a load of bull**** and that it is meat.

I say it depends. The only fish I like is pickerol, or smoked fish. Good ol' natives.

I have seen in the past people say things like, "I'm a vegetarian. I eat fish, but fish doesn't really count as meat."

I have never really understood why this happens, but there you go.

usually has to do something with being a vegetarian in the first place. Not always, but a good amount.
