46 for Utah? Connecticut at 44? Based on what? Ohio is inarguably bad and ranked 48, but Indiana, which is basically the exact same state as Ohio, is 28? And in what world is Wisconsin and Michigan better than the entire west coast? Kentucky is in the top 5 but Tennessee (a vastly superior version of Kentucky) didn’t even make the top 10? Also any list that doesn’t have Massachusetts firmly in the top 5 is wrong.
Terrible list. Might as well be randomly generated.

Well, their only argument for Florida being the worst state is Florida Man's Twitter account.
So...I'm calling right now that this is a shitty f***ing list. Doesn't mean they're wrong, but if they're not going to actually provide ANYTHING to back up their rankings then why the f*** should I waste my time reading beyond the first entry?
I live in Florida, and it can be terrible and backwards. But no one is worst than Mississippi. Ever.
It's certainly toward the bottom in terms of the climate, IMO. The climate is a pretty big deal to me. I can't stand eternally hot and humid climates and hurricanes/severe thunderstorms. I would never be happy in Florida. Not even vacationing.
Weak trolling attempt.
I'm not trolling. I live in Florida myself and I just wanted to know what others thought.

I too don't like living in tropical climates. But, I don't mind visiting for a short time.
You'll miss out on places like Tahiti/Bora-Bora.
@jun_aka_pekto: The thing is, if I took a vacation there, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because I wouldn't want to spend anytime outside. I have a very low tolerance for heat nowadays. I mean, if it is even 70 degrees F and it is sunny without any wind, it is too hot for me. I don't like the feeling of heat at all.
If I went somewhere like that, I'd have to enjoy the view from inside an air-conditioned building and that's no fun.
Maybe next winter I'll book a trip to Florida, but only to see Cape Canaveral. I'm not particularly interested in anything else there.
I wouldn't mind traveling to the desert SW if it means escaping the cold, though. I'd take high heat and low humidity over slightly less heat and sky-high humidity any day.
On topic, though, all I hear about FL is heresay, but rarely anything good, which is unfortunate. Here in the Northeast it's known as the retirement home.
I lived in FL for 25 years, now I'm in Tennessee. Both great states with their pros and cons. There is so much to do in FL it's rediculous. Weather near the coast, especially Pinellas County is usually really great. Going south to Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale is an experience... Like leaving the country(better know your Spanish). FL keys are a cool get away if you aren't homophobic. Orlando is cool but too touristy.

There's a reason people on the border buy their groceries in Kentucky

If you have a condition that prevents you from enjoying the sun, that's different.
Anyway, I've been to Florida only twice in my life. One visit was during the 1994 FIFA World Cup. It was funny to see the streets of Miami deserted in broad daylight because there was a match on. Ha Ha!
Well it's just an opinion so don't take it seriously. Also Pennsylvania at 12? Didn't expect that. Take that Florida.
