Is Glen Beck the best newsreporter on CNN/MSNBC?

Didn't know "American media" and" unbiased" could go together.

Really? I could've sworn that I heard Glenn Beck calling those comspiracy theorists idiots...besides, Beck's a conservative.

Personally, I really can't stand Beck.

I think anyone who claims to be unbiased is totally biased.

If a reported wants to be unbiased they do their job, toss out the facts, if they're doing an editorial they do that and they move on. They don't brag about their TV Network or reporting, they just do the job.

He's alright, but I can't stand the way he's constantly putting on and then removing his glasses in normal conversation. Even when he's not reading something, he'll reach into his pocket, put on his glasses, take them off, clean them, put them back on. and then remove them emphatically when he's trying to make a point.SmashBrosLegend

lol come on it's not that bad i find it funny, he is at least better than nancy grace. I'm not saying he is correct at everything im saying IMO i was just wondering if anyone else agrees with me.

EDIT: I was saying he is less biased than nancy grace, it appears as if she has her mind set and she just walks over whoever else gets in her way even the guests.. and even when the guests are right.

Except that the he ran whole panels back a few years ago which were all about him "deducing the 9/11 mystery" even though their was no mystery to be had. Sure he's "changed" his views now. Bandwaggoning is some easy stuff as it turns out.

Glen Beck is a moron, and a jerk to boot.

I am from MN. One of our new Reps in last election is Keith Elison, a great person and a Muslim. In an interview with him before Ellison won in a landslide, Beck said

"GLENN: No offense, and I know Muslims, I like Muslims, I have been to mosques . . .
I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, "Sir, prove to me that you are not [stammers] working with our enemies, [extending palm--Ellison is smiling] and I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way."

Truly, any American who isntantly thinks of terroism when they think Muslim is a moron. Christans have killed more people in the world than Muslims. Anyone who links terrorism to a religion is an idiot. Fanatics of any ideollogy can do bad things. It doesn't make the ideollogy bad.

Glen Beck also referred to the Katrina survivors as "scumbags" with this wonderful quote.

But the second thought I had when I saw these people and they had to shut down the Astrodome and lock it down, I thought: I didn't think I could hate victims faster than the 9-11 victims. These guys -- you know it's really sad. We're not hearing anything about Mississippi. We're not hearing anything about Alabama. We're hearing about the victims in New Orleans. This is a 90,000-square-mile disaster site, New Orleans is 181 square miles. A hundred and -- 0.2 percent of the disaster area is New Orleans! And that's all we're hearing about, are the people in New Orleans. Those are the only ones we're seeing on television are the scumbags -- and again, it's not all the people in New Orleans. Most of the people in New Orleans got out! It's just a small percentage of those who were left in New Orleans, or who decided to stay in New Orleans, and they're getting all the attention. It's exactly like the 9-11 victims' families. There's about 10 of them that are spoiling it for everybody.

You can find pages of this kinda feces falling from his mouth on an almost daily basis. He has said all of Mexio was criminals from top to bottom. . If you truly think he is unbiassed and worth listening to, I am sad for you. :(

If you like Beck, you obviously dont' like Michael Moore. But a radio/tv host saying stuff like this and calling it "NEWS" is just plain wrong. CNN only hired the moron because for some inexplicable reason the biggest propoganda station in the US is popular and they wanted a chunk of that ratings pie.

MSNBC is liberal, FOX news is blatantly conservative and tries to pretend they are "unbiased". CNN is really the most middle of the road and unbiased of those stations, with the exception of a couple people too far in either direction. The channel too conservative for some and too liberal for others... meaning they are probably just right.

If you really want "unbiased" news watch CSPAN. :D

I don't really watch his show. I used to listen to his radio show all the time til my local station put some local show on... So its been over 9 months since I've seen/listened to him.

I liked his show. He is conservative, he claims he's conservative, but he thinks a little differently on some issues. Does he claim to be unbiased? On his radio show he always used to say he's a conservative.

smcaudata: I'll give you the first quote, he comes off as an idiot. But the second one, about New Orleans. He said the ones getting on TV were scumbags. Guess who I saw on the TV during that time? People in New Orleans shooting at rescue helicopters, looting, and generally causing terror. He didn't say everyone in New Orleans was a scumbag, just the ones making the 6:00 news.

That last quote of his sounds like it came from his radio show. And reading it here, it sounds serious. If you listen to him when he says crazy stuff like that on his radio show, you know he's joking. He makes funny voices and will say shocking things like that. If you all could hear him say that quote on his radio show you'd know what I'm talking about. Reading it here is NOT the same as hearing it. Its not in context.

He's definitly biased, but I love him. He's hilarious, and I agree with him on the majority of his views. Most entertaining and crazy classical liberal ever.
