Is Huffing White Out Or Paint Thinner Illegal?

I'm just asking because as far as I know drugs are illegal to possess but since paint thinner and white out are normal things that you can buy at the store is it illegal to huff paint thinner or sniff white out in the comfort of your own home before setting down to a bucket of popcorn and Nick At Nite?

Is the act of non public intoxication illegal or just the possession?

If that's illegal, being a moron should be illegal too. The line is nano-fine.

The thing about drugs. The thing I find funny, is when something becomes popular the parent and the worryworts take notice and lobby the legislators to make it illegal, thinking that wll do anything except fill up our jails with a bunch of morons who really didn't do anything wrong (don't get me wrong, drugs are bad, driving under the influence is the same as walking around with a running chainsaw, and crime DOES go up where drugs are rampant). Then some kids find out about something else (paint or their parents pills or good ol vodka) and it just starts all over again. There will ALWAYS be something that can alter conciousness and make someone feel funny. Hell, sometimes kids just choke each other for the euphoric thrill of lack of oxygen.

It's not illegal to posses the things you listed, YET!
