It's the internet, not just gamespot. Haven't you seen the state of those damn youtube comments?geodisicdomeIt people not just the internet.
sometimes it drives me crazy and its not just that. sometimes i type something and someone picks something very minor in what i said (a spelling mistake. which is what someone will do in this one) and make a huge deal about it. like COMON people! are we that desperate to prove others wrong!?dragonmaster64
It's C'MON, or COME ON; not COMON.

You beat me to it....but why do we do it more on the internet then in real life? people go out of their way to prove others wrong. is it to show superiority? to make up something that you dont have?dragonmaster64People don't like to be wrong, particularly in front of other people.
but why do we do it more on the internet then in real life? people go out of their way to prove others wrong. is it to show superiority? to make up something that you dont have?dragonmaster64You can act like an idiot on the internet anonymously, not so much in the real world.

You can act anyway you like on the internet and nobody will know who/where you are.
Bigger Question: Can YOU admit you're wrong? (if you were)randomhero5677at first when i had my account on gamespot and i was new i did admit i was wrong but now i dont care anymore. even though there are some people in gamespot who know when theyre wrong its nothing compared to those who take it to far.

Not the end of the world. The trick is to be right to where you don't look like an ass to the uninvolved, that way, should you be wrong later, you can be wrong with grace and not have your face shoved in it.

Well then good for you. You shouldn't care if others won't admit they're wrong. If you're right and you and said person both know that they're wrong, that's all that matters.
and also another note but this is kind of off topic but whats up with the people who use really big words in gamespot? they certainly dont use those kind of big words in real life when they talk to others so why do it on gamespot?dragonmaster64I use the big words I sometimes use on here in real life:)

I type just about exactly how I speak. Only difference is I also use profanity when not on GameSpot, but that is against the ToU.
i mean consistently use big words non stop.dragonmaster64Well my acquaintance, I certainly can't argue with that gargantuan statement of blasphemy. Something like that? I talk like that all the time.

Ah. I see. Well you shouldn't let that bother you. Everybody has words they don't understand. If you don't know the words, you could ask the person using them what they mean. You understand what I'm saying?
