Is it normal for a guy to get colored contacts?

I just ran out of prescription contacts, so im gonna buy another pack this month (Ive been wearing them for a year) and I thought, since I wear them everyday, why not try another color... cuz Ive always wondered what Id look like with green, some people in my family have that color and they look pretty good.

The thing is, im pretty insecure about this, it sounds like a femanine thing to do. Is this true or am I just paranoid? Are there any guys here with colored contacts? I just dont wanna get made fun of afterwards. :/

I don't believe you're being paranoid. It is a femanine thing. Unless you're goth and you put in blood red contacts, or something.

Dude, I'm sure that everyone goes through a stage of wanting to change something about themselves. If you want to change your eye color, go ahead, it's not like anybody here can stop you. Besides, why should you care what everybody else thinks about you anyway? It's not like, if someone says your feminine, that you'll become a girl. It's all up to you. Not to us.

My friend who has no need for contacts or glasses at all, bought a pair that had the Scottish flag on them, though when he stuff them in it just looked like a cross-hair on his eyes. Looked pretty damn cool and since then i've kinda been considering getting some red, balck or white ones. just the freak everyone out. Be like "Someone poured acid into my eyes and well look what happened" *take of sunglasses* *freak everyone out*Apollo5000

Planning to do such a thing with "Sith contacts" (I would choose that, wouldn't I?). Doing it at Uni and I gotta say, it doesn't define your gender. That's like saying what colour hair you have is gender determinate. Have fun with it and get some new coloured contacts. If people judge what gender you are by it, then that's immature.
