cause i have a pop up virus on my pc and it interuppts my gaming and it wont show up on viruscan

Yolu COULD just not use IE, use something like Firefox instead like I do.  :)

i do use firefox but even when i dont open up IE it opens up about 50 pop ups and yesi have pop up blocker software doesnt work tho

yea although like others have said, you might accidently delete a .dll or something that some other program needs

Yes firefox is a good idea. It's faster and no pop-ups.

go into add/remove programs  then you'll see a add/remove system components.   Remove the checkmark from IE.  It doesn't cause any problems since I've had IE uninstalled for about 6 months.
