Today my cat jumped on my bed and I was petting him. When I pet him he likes to rub his head on me but today he rubbed his head in an inappropriate place and then meowed. Does it mean that he likes me?

My dog tried to hump my arm every once in a while, I just fling him off. I don't think our animals are attracted to us, I think they hump to dominate, it's a pack pyramid thing ... do cats have packs?
There have been many documented instances of homosexual behaviour amongst domesticated animals (horses, pigs, dogs), but in your case, I doubt the feline made any "sexual" connection to you personally, and was merely being a horny fun-loving cat, as is natural for feline furballs.
[QUOTE="Nerd_Man"]That's how AIDS was created. I'd say get rid of your cat before AIDS becomes your problem.loft8000
Is that really how AIDS was created? animals humping humans? lol.
Monkeys I believeI remember reading about how they care for an endangered Condor, something with having to feed and nurture the baby with something that is similar to a Condor so it knows that it doesn't look to humans for support and mating, so if your cat was raised without contact with other cats until later on in life, it may have convinced itself that it needs a human for mating purposes. Of course, that was back in grade 12 Biology where I read that.

Monkeys I believe Its was from monkeys, but not through doing...things. It was from someone coming in to contact with contaminated blood, or eating a monkey with SIV. As for the cat, he may have been rubbing that part because it was close to him. And it doesn't really equate to a dog attacking your leg for the wrong reasons.Another reason why I hate cats. I'm gonna right that up on my hate wall now.

You be hatin' too much. Just love man, just love. Start with a hamster and work your way up.
Yes. The hamster may try to hump you-stay strong.

But love is what makes animals hump humans.
I dont think the cat has any awareness that what it rubbed its head on was your genitalia in order to get naughty thoughts. Or that the meowing was its way of telling you "I just rubbed your genitalia, I am a naughty cat".Today my cat jumped on my bed and I was petting him. Its random. I mean the only thing that I can think of is that maybe your cat wanted to rub its head there cause that area generates more heat.
Nothing else imo. I am sure your cat doesnt see you sexually. -_-
I also wondered the same thing about a dog :/ When I was about 14 I had a similar experience. Needless to say I hated seeing that dog, it always raped my leg, or whatever he could jump on when I sat down :/ I always had to stand up in that house.... stupid dog. Wierd thing is he only did it to me though, very annoying.wigan_gamerYou must ooze sexuality. :P
My Dwarf Bunny tried to sexually abuse of me, and in one close attempt, tried to rape me.

I'm sure it's possible, I don't think it's impossible.
Humans get sexually attracted to animals, so I imagine it could go the other way around.
There seems to be some type of fetish for anything anyway, and cats, like humans, are living breathing things and have all kinds of instincts and feelings to go along with it, and are close to human complexity in terms of the level of the food chain, quite towards the top.
Like I said, I don't think it would be an impossibility for it to occur. Many of the same things that happen in humans also happen in other types of animals.
I would find that cute. It might be possible, if the cat is mentally disabled. He might be confused, and think your are someone they are able to mate with. Does your cat ever get out? Or does it just stick around humans?

He's always in the house. We never let him outside because last time he went outside he got some nasty infection on his neck.

Bunny's are notorious for being "friendly". I think they kind of go hormone crazy during mating season. I wonder if you toss a stuffed animal with it during that time what would happen... :?
