Is it possible to not get moderated on this site?

They are just examples that are relevant to the topic at hand...human behavior that I find funny, in a thread created by you, on a subject about Ask the Mods. Almost impossible for that not to be the first thing that comes to mind; wouldn't you agree?
I could just as easily name a million human behaviors (well not literally) that I find to be funny...but they would not be 'on-topic', and thus less relevant to the conversation.

Ask the Mods is the best b/c people are not trying to impress others. It is the most 'real' place to see human behavior IMO...in short, it has the most LULZ for me

I have never been modded, unless you count my account being activated as a moderation...

I have around 8. About 1 per every thousand posts.

Almost all of them I don't understand what I did and will likely just repeat because they don't explain what was in violation. It's basically a vague message not telling me what I did and warning me. A warning is useless if you don't tell me what I'm warned for.

I've never found it hard to really avoid deserved moderations. I only have one to my knowledge. Just don't insult people, really.

It's far too easy to get moderated here, I absolutely agree with that. We will all more than likely be moderated for having a disrespectful tone in this thread. That's how easy it is.Ghost_702

i find it impossible not to get moderated as well. i think i have 50+ moderations, if i remember correctly. i might be up to level 40 if i didn't get them :lol:

Just don't get in debates then, that's where 90% of my moderations come from.

Yeah, there are some users with no moderations and lots of posts. And in spite of getting into a lot of heated debates in years gone by, my history has only a couple of point losses, which isn't terrible for what is closing in on a decade of posting.

Its easy to avoid moderation notes. :P

It is quite easy to get moderated on these forums...I blame the people who can't have a debate without reporting the other person for something miniscule.

Not really...I didn't know jack about the ToU when I received a moderation, so I decided one way was to read how the moderators were interpreting the document.

This was at a time when there were probably a good two or three threads on the front page about the movie that you could have posted in.

2. Your next one is merely a post where you quoted some censor bypassing and the moderator deleted it without so much as putting a bad mark in your history.

3. You made a thread on Off-Topic about playing Xbox Live. Game discussion belongs on the game forums, not OT.

4. You could probably ask for clarification on this one in Ask the Mods. I suspect it was the phrase "mm mm mm < the noise black people make." We often moderate people for posting racial stereotypes, but this could be borderline.

Don't blatantly flame or troll, and don't smear religions/races, and don't post on SW and you should be good. I only have a few moderations (3 of which I disagree with but they were all on SW so whatever)
