From what I saw in a brief glance at your moderation history, you should probably brush up on the ToU, particularly the offensive section. Talking about being raped by a bunch of latino terrorists or any of those other things isn't going to fly here. It has nothing to do with mods 'being anal' or being in a bad mood.
I've been moderated 5 times. The mods were wrong all 5 times.

You've had four moderations:
damn....i love you1. You made a thread about Inception in which all you said in your first post was "I saw Inception, and I had no idea what the **** was going on."
This was at a time when there were probably a good two or three threads on the front page about the movie that you could have posted in.
2. Your next one is merely a post where you quoted some censor bypassing and the moderator deleted it without so much as putting a bad mark in your history.
3. You made a thread on Off-Topic about playing Xbox Live. Game discussion belongs on the game forums, not OT.
4. You could probably ask for clarification on this one in Ask the Mods. I suspect it was the phrase "mm mm mm < the noise black people make." We often moderate people for posting racial stereotypes, but this could be borderline.
Apparently the letter "S" followed by the letter "H" repeated implying the want for quietness is censor bypassing. and I got moderated for a review I deleted, and the action taken was deleting it...:?
I didn't expect you to have received a point loss in your time here :shock:Yeah, there are some users with no moderations and lots of posts. And in spite of getting into a lot of heated debates in years gone by, my history has only a couple of point losses, which isn't terrible for what is closing in on a decade of posting.

I get about one every couple days. Yesterday I got one for posting a name in Korean in the which celeb would you date thread like 10 hours after I posted it. Message to gamespot mods: STEP UP YOUR GAME...... seriously, you should not let people get away with that kinda stuff for so long....
Yeah, the moderation on Gamespot is simply awful. I honestly think most moderators flag posts depending on thier mood/own bias. It's a circus and quite silly, however; I have stopped caring because I hardly ever post anymore anyways.
It's not just you that's noticed it though, I'vespoken to people in real life that use to post on Gamespot and it seems to be a common consensus that Gamespot is run like a dictatorship. It's completely lame, but because it's a privately owned website, they can pretty much do whatever they want.
We aren't everywhere at once. There are reports in the queue as far back as the 9th. I think most people would rather we continue doing it how we do it now where we take our time and dismiss most reports rather than speeding through it and making a ton of mistakes. 10 hours is nothing.I get about one every couple days. I've taken a look at other people's moderation history while being a moderator, and those who complain, 9/10 deserved the moderation to begin with. They try to act innocent and try to tell people were wrongly accused, but when I checked their moderation and gave them a heads up, they usually told a different story.Yeah, the moderation on Gamespot is simply awful. I made a mistake of moderating someone two years later when the post was in the queue. Those usually get reversed since the post was so old.I get about one every couple days. Ah, that seems likely. You would know better than I would because I've never been a moderator. It wouldn't suprise me for people to play the "I'm innocent" card though - always trying to save face lol

Oh Pianist you know you're known as MrCoolHead. :P I've seen you debate many times and you never lose your cool. I wish I knew how to do that. Just remember that every time you get angry, you disappoint Yoda. You don't want to disappoint Yoda do you? Well no of course not. That upsets the balance of Teh Force you know. :PYeah, there are some users with no moderations and lots of posts. Is it possible for it to be a thread about moderations that doesn't spawn from a user who just got them? I think that's less likely than having 0 moderations ;pDystopian-XI need an "Oh You!" pic right now. You and your remarks. lol
I've earned every one of my 50 moderations... I used to honestly expect them before they even showed up in my inbox. :P I've tried to be on better behavior lately so it's been 5 months since my last warning, and like 9 since my last moderation. raven_squadNew sig and avy is awesome. And is the lesson here: The moderator is always right?

...and I loved you ever since.
I know I can always say, 'well, you remember that one time when...'
I haven't been modded yet :).Immortal--Same :) But I don't exactly post all the time, I lurk. I'm trying to change that tho and to post alot more often haha

You got modded? No way
Of course. You just really have to watch what you say on these boards. Unless you don't care about getting modded for it, reread your posts carefully and think if it is a possible violation or not.MistressMinakoI've had to edit plenty of my posts before submitting them.
I've never been moderated, and honestly I've never found it hard to follow the TOU.
I just think before I post.

Yeah, even after submitting some of my posts... I will think to myself if I should have posted that. Then quick edit. :P
the mods really have their panties up in a bunch. would be awesome if someday they revised the board policies to stop catering to the 12 year olds and their grandmothers who may happen to be lurking the site. we are gamers, and most of us play "mature" games. this board isn't even rated T. it's a good thing the people here are interesting otherwise this forum would really suck.wired4stuffIts always easy to blame the mods and claim they're against us. But until you've tried being one you can't really complain.
