I spend ALL my free time on the computer only because it entertains me. That being said, I'm not a nerd, geek, or anti-social, either.Zaeryn
I don't know about ALL my time but a lot of it. Most people don't even know I use one lol! But yeah as long as you work out the computer won't be bad for you...

Same with me. When your parents don't let you hang out with your friends, play video games, or watch more than a couple of hours a week of TV, you spend all of your time on the computer.

same here. I've been called anti-social, master isolator, geek, nerdling, computer addict, gamespawn but it's not really me. I just like to spend time with the computer because for me this is my forte in all of the millions of activities in the world.
Prolonged exposure to monitor radiation can't be good for your eyes. Sedentary life-styles lead to problems, both physically and socially. And so yes, it is unhealthy to spend too much time on a computer every day, though there's much debate about what 'too much' would be.
I live in some back water Maine town, so i don't have much else to do.Guiltfeeder566Go outside and enjoy nature. If I were you I'd be outside all day.
lol What I meant was do you think there's anything unhealthy about being on the computer all day PHYSICALLY? I don't care about the social aspect of it. I'm just worried that I'm ruining my body somehow and giving myself eye-strain. PitaGriffin
I spend my work day in front of a computer screen for the most part. I have been doing this for about 4 years now and I have noticed things. For one I don't work out and I have gained weight, not a dangerous amount, but enough and I know I can fix that by working out......someday.
What has happened recently is eye strain, there is nothing wrong with my vision as I've had my eyes checked recently, but I do get headaches if I stare at a screen for too long. I should have my new glasses ready today to help when I am on the computer, to reduce glare and strain. I have never worn glasses before.
Socially, I don't think I am any different, I still go out and see friends but that has decreased in the past few years, but I think that is a result of getting older, not computers.
