Despite that this will probably devolve into nothing more than debate about is abortion right or not, know that this is not the original intent of my post. I believe a baby starts living once it is no longer a parasite on it's mother. With my solid belief that won't be argued any time soon out of the way, I'll get onto the story.
So my psychology teacher discusses politics a lot. I mean a LOT! I had to check what class I was in first day because was just watched political speeches. I'm in high school by the way. So we were discussing issues, and she says these words which really catch my attention. "I don't think there's a single person who's for abortions." I just muttered to myself that I find nothing wrong with it. Well she heard me and just kinda stares at me like "What the hell did he just say?" and started arguing it. She gets so raged by the argument though that I don't actually get to say anything much.
I should of seen this coming from the teacher that gave a whole speech over how I shouldn't say "Jesus Christ!" so randomly, but what really makes me so annoyed is the class glaring at me like I'm evil. I know I'm arguing a sensitive topic, but I'm not sick for being on this side of the fence, am I? Just the way she said it was so confident no one out there was like this, you'd swear I'd just said terrorism was ok.
I argue with her on politics occasionally and she really is interesting, but this just really is bugging me. Am I the only one who argues abortion as not only necessary but a good thing? A medical advance to truly help us? It's not like our world needs more population anyways, especially not to unwanting parents.
