Let's keep it that way. I like being the minority in a cool country. Seriously if I returned to find a bunch of white brethren I'd be quite upset.

Not really. They exactly aren't black either, but when someone says white person I don't think of a Japanese man.

In the urbanized areas? Yes. In the remaining areas? Not so much. A relatively large part of the population in these countries is still involved in small scale agriculture and other primary activities.

Don't be confused.. large scale corporate agriculture industry.. is not a sign of a developed nation.. For many years that was the back bone of the American economy... when it wasn't owned by large corporation..

It could be argued to an extent that the UAE is a developed country. Theres South Korea, Taiwan. Theres many latin countries that are developed. India to an extent is developed except in the rural areas where the same can be said for China.

I suppose.. if you want to go the route of how one defines or perceives developed... Then I guess I'd have to say all industrial nations are in fact.. backward societies.. and those that aren't are in fact the developed ones.

Skin color doesn't say who they are. That's like saying Indian people are black. -_- South Korea is pretty developed too.

Who cares about the technical definitions; if a country doesn't have over half its population owning a computer and a phone, then it's not developed. that takes out India and China.

generally when your population is starving on a daily basis and a quarter of you gdp goes into military spending, you have probrems.

Of all the countries to be an apologist for, why North Korea? The "Dear Leader" has effectively abolished the private life of his constituents (who are essentially slaves at this point).

Life expectancy of 76 years, income of $20,000 per capita... sounds pretty developed to me. I don't know, do cultural ethics play a part in whether a country is developed?

North Korea is nowhere near a developed country. When most people are starving, then your country is not developed. They arent developing either. I would say they've stopped, as they cant be self sufficient and they dont trade with anybody.

I think the per capita is only as high as it is because the Saudi princes and the oil barons make such an incredibly high amount of money. This brings up the average income per capita. Also they don't really invest much of this money back into the country. They do invest a fair bit, but compared to how much money they do have its basically pennys. I've heard the life expectancy for Saudi Arabia ranging from 72 to 76 so I'm not positive on what it actually is but its nothing special for a middle eastern country, about average in the middle east. There are many countries that are much poorer with higher life expectancies. I think Saudi Arabia is developing just not really a developed country yet.

I've always wondered about Spain. I live here and yet I'm not sure if the people are white or what. They are slightly darker skinned then what you would call a British or American white person. I know many neo-nazi kids who consider themselves white yet they are pretty damn dark as well.
