Is Kain and Lynch Really that bad???

Is it really, or is that just fans of jeff's who are supporting him?

Please tell me if they aren't honest.

and yes, i liked jeff's reviews, cause of his bluntness with how good/bad the game was.

hopefully ign or another gaming website will pick him up.

I've got it, and Jeff gave it a fair score. 6.0. I would say that the story makes it 6.5 imo, but it was a well-deserved score. Aming is really, reallybad, the graphics look worse than Hitman's, and the little dialouge banter between characters is annoying as hell, but it's not the worst game ever. People are just mad because of the reason AND the way he was fired, but no one knows the full story except Jeff andthe people who fired him. If a publisher has to bribe someone for a good score, then they need to go back to the drawing board.

No, Kane & Lynch is not a bad game. Far from it. Most of the complaints leveled at it were extremely exaggerated and in many cases aren't even issues with the game but personal taste. It's very fun and effectively what Freedom Fighters 2 would have been. If I was to give it an arbitrary score I'd likely stick it between 7-7.5 which isn't bad by any stretch.

Besides it was almost outright proven that Gerstmann only played the first level of the game (his Gamertag and review proved it weeks ago before this hullabaloo popped up).

The game is getting unnecessarily trashed by people supporting the guy over his termination (for whatever reason that may have actually been). And almost all of them haven't even played the damn thing.

If its true that Jeff only played the 1st level (which I don't think you can prove just by looking at his gamertag, although its pretty good circumstancial evidence) then yeah, he should be fired. You have to be a responsible reviewer. Again, thats if what you say is true.

Jeff gave it the lowest score comparing to all other sites, but ti wasn't that much lower, and it was his review. He mentioned both good and bad side of the game. And plus, he was attacked for the "tone" of his review.

Wow. Read Bob Coleico's blog (former employee). He kinda debunks the theory that Jeff only played the first level.

It has to do with the copy of the game being a developer gold disk and that they can only use it in special developer consoles... meaning that Jeff didn't review the game on his own console or account.
