I've heard about the iPod corrupting if you use the safely remove hardware option on Windows Vista.Unfortunately I heard about it to late.It no longer holds videos,I'm missing a lot of songs, and resetting it doesn't seem to work. The question is do I have to buy a new one,or is there a way of fixing it?

Did you try not just resetting it, but restoring it?
