Is my school schedule too easy?

**BEFORE READING, NOTE THAT I PLAN TO MAJOR IN THE FIELD OF SCIENCE/MATH**

I want to have a life during my school year but I also want my transcript to look good (:P) so is this ok?:

1. Pre AP Chem
2. Pre AP Calc
3. AP America History
4. English 11 (I dropped AP)
5. Spanish III (forgot to put this :P)
6. Film as Lit.
7. Desktop Publishing I and II
8. Herpetology

are u kidding me... "PRE" AP courses. what is this. i graduated 2 years there was no such thing as pre AP. anyway that stuff is bull unless u plan on going to univeristy in the USA which i dont recommend. try canada or englandOnDeMa

You should take AP classes, especially AP Calculus. I got screwed in College because none of the classes I took would even land me in Calculus my first quarter which you need to be taking to be enrolled in Computer Science. I took AP Statistics instead of AP Calculus in my senior year of highschool and you know what that did for me? Nothing, even with a 5 on the AP. I had to take a test on Trig to place me in Calculus which is something I hadn't studied in 2 years. It was either that or start in a college math course a whopping 3 levels behind Calculus. Very crappy situation.

You take AP calc in highschool and pass it, you won't have to deal with crap like this.

I don't know the situation for out of state students, but for kids who went to school in California there's enough CSU's and UC's that everyone can get in as long as they have decent grades. Where I grew up there was San Jose State just south along with Santa Clara University, Stanford around the block(good luck with getting in there), San Francisco State just north, and UC Berkeley just passed that. I decided to get away from my parents so I'm at Cal Poly Pomona, the six hour drive was Hell though. Honestly, California offers so many choices for their students on where to go to college and of good quality too.
