Or do you think they will eventually do something?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_skorea_ship_sinks

"North Korea vowed Saturday to launch an all-out attack against South Korean loudspeakers and other propaganda facilities along their heavily fortified border, warning it could even turn Seoul into a sea of flame."

I'm not too sure if they want to risk it but their threats seem to be increasing in potency.

Now is not a good time for Korea II so if they want to go to civil war yet again, they are ontheir own.

The way I see it is if they were really going to do something maybe they wouldn't publicly announce it. It would be a complete surprise. But I still can't be sure, that guy's nuts.

Pretty much; but sooner or later they're going to make a nuclear threat and that's when Operation: Korea 2.0 is initiated.

They've threatened to use nukes before. On the US, even, I think.

Nah, they've got like a billion artillery units all pointed at Seoul, and that's been the case since pretty much forever. Nuking someone who is like 40 miles from your border is not exactly the smartest plan around, and Kim knows it. And this is at least the third time they've threatened to turn Seoul into a "sea of flame" (those exact words, no less). It's pretty much their standard saber-rattling line; it's nothing new.

Hell no. Secretly North Korea is building an army of cute snuggly radioactive bunnies. Why? Because who the **** can resist the cuteness of a bunny and they reproduce like roaches. What they will do release a control batch within South Korea. And just when the innocent citizens of South Korea are snuggly there own personal bunny-o-death North Korea is going to detonate every single bunny in one fiery maelstrom of South Korean body parts, flames, radioactivity, and sheer bunny cuddliness. Mark my words. North Korea is just biding its time until it determines the perfect time to strike. Kim Jong Il is truly a terrifyingly brilliant military mastermind. ON-Topic: FOr the most part, yes.

They have no allies who would be willing to stand by them if they started any conflict at all. They are indeed all talk, and i imagine they're well aware of that.

Ok and...?

If anything, if we bomb (NOT nuke, bomb) the hell out of Pyongyang, what will they really do? Thats where all the military elites and Gov.t officials live. Outside of there is basically poor people who hate their country as much as the rest of the world.

By the way, if anyone wants to see a nice BBC documentary where they go into North Korea, I recommend watching this.

The Kim Jong-Il guide to trolling: Step 1: Do something that'll piss off the West. (build rockets, attack shipping, ramp up rhetoric etc.) Step 2: Enter multilateral talks with the major powers concerning your aforementioned actions. Step 3: Agree to stop doing what you did in Step 1 in exchange for something from them. Step 4: Receive stuff. Step 5: Repeat step 1.

i doubt that North Korea would take military action against South Korea. There are U.S. troops stationed at the boarder between both countries, and risking killing or hurting even one American solider can spark US involvement (bombing the hell out of NK). It's a very uncomfortable feeling knowing that NK may use their military power, but they have just been blowing smoke just to get south korea, as well as the rest of the worlds nations on edge.

Turning Seoul into a sea of flame sounds like a possible nuclear threat.

Kim wouldn't do that.. He would have nothing to gain and everything to lose.. Especially when they want to invade and take over South Korea, something that can't be done if they nuke the country.

Until they destroyed a South Korean ship unprovoked. I think it can get worse. Hopefully not.
