Is Obama a Socialist?

I am a socialist and tyo call Obama a socialist is an offense to me .I mean this guy save the capitalist system in America .He prevemt after the disgusting criysis of 2008 that Wall Street and the Banks collapsed As a socialist a true socialist i resent those that state that Barack Obama has the same ideas and solutions to solve world problems than me By the way Social-Democracy is not Socialism but a perversion of it (Sorry for the lawzy English)

No he isn't completely one. But he wants the government to take care of everything for everyone so he is close to one...

IIRC, Socialism is an economic system by which the means of production are unilaterally controlled by the state. It seems to me that Obama is certainly not a socialist, which of course is a good thing.

Obama is NOT a socialist...he is a communist. I read all about it in "Dreams from My Father," written by Bill Ayers.

This sums up the current cries of socialism pretty accurately.

Obama isn't a socialist. He would really fall under the lines of a corporatist.
