I got the album on vinyl the other year for like $8, and I got Dark Side for the same price with the original posters included.... Don't pay $20 for the CD at a store, or like $15 that iTunes charges...Get it on vinyl...That's the best way to listen to old music.
Yeah..but vinyl denigrates each time it's played.I got the album on vinyl the other year for like $8, and I got Dark Side for the same price with the original posters included.... I've only had one in a period of 20 or so years break on me, out of the hundreds of vinyls I own.I got the album on vinyl the other year for like $8, and I got Dark Side for the same price with the original posters included.... It definitely is, but they have two better albums: Wish You Were Here (their greatest...also has 5 songs, but they're really long lol. Kind of opposite to the Wall with 24 and they're each short compared to their other songs) and Dark Side of the Moon.

Who is talking about breaking? Quality is lost each time that needle scrapes across the vinyl.:|
it's only £8.99 at the mo, but I got it when it was £30. And I'm not atall gutted, because it's such a great album. It's only just a double album, something like 74mins long, and every second is perfect, everynote is just where it should be. "I've got a little black book with my poems in" ...don't know y I said that, bit random, think I'll go and put it on.
Heh, I think Dark Side of the Moon is horribly overrated. I only felt some magic when I listened to it and that was during the song "Money", the rest is just blank in my head. :PIt definitely is, but they have two better albums: Wish You Were Here (their greatest...also has 5 songs, but they're really long lol. Its a great album, but has a bit of filler and is a bit self indulgent at times....zepman71
Actually that is completely false. No song from any Pink Floyd album is filler. Filler are tracks that are made for the sole purpose of "completing" an album. They probably don't mean much to the band and not a lot of effort goes into them. They are there for quantity purposes as opposed to quality.
Since every Pink Floyd album is crafted as a single entity, none of their songs are filler. They all contribute to the overall story, theme, what have you in each album. And if you listen to Pink Floyd and just pick out selective songs, you are missing the point. And when you consider the fact that all the songs blend together, its not that easy to distinguish where one song ends and the other one starts.
