Popeyes is the best fast food fried chicken place. Their spicy chicken is awesome, their fries are really good, and their red beans and rice..... so delicious. I've gone just to get a large side of RB&R before.
Nothing special imo. I like their shrimp tackle box with hot sauce. My friend used to work there and claimed the food was much more fresh than that of KFC.

It's easily the best chain fried chicken I've ever had. I've reheated Popeye's chicken that's been in the fridge for a few days and it's still much better than "fresh" KFC.
The nearest popeyes is like 45 min from me while KFC is about a 5 min walk so I go there more. I have been to popeyes a couple times and its pretty good though.
Popeye's is better then KFC. But Louisiana Fried Chicken and Church's Chicken are absolutely much better. If you have any of those around you go to those and you won't be disappointed.

I do like legs from Church's .The other pieces not so much. Though thier spicy chicken is pretty good, at least the legs and thighs which I always get.

Popeyes is good, but no where near Bojangles. Bojangles is hands down the best fast food fried chicken place in America. Too bad they are only in the south. Every time I go home I have to eat there a couple times.
