Well, my statement may not be completely true, but if you live in certain areas it is. Many black kids in my school hate white people because they're white. It's ignorance and hipocracy at its best when this happens, and it's becoming common unfortunately. Apparently it's impossible to destroy racism in the modern world. Is this a serious question?
Anyone who believes it is is an idiot.
Dude,SLAVERY used to be a cultural institution.
You used to not be able to obtain certain rights because of the color of your skin. not be able to vote, used certain public transportation, drinking fountains, eat in certain restaurants, live in certain places, work in certain places - it goes on and on. The color of your skin used to completely determine the amount of freedom you were granted.... and if was of African heritage the amount used to be "none at all."
Does it still exist? Of course.
Anywhere close to what it used to be? No.
I've learnt to keep my mouth closed. You can't say anything without being racist, and until people stop being so quick to accuse, racism will never go away.SolidSnake35
Same, i've just learned to never talk(except for on the interwebs). Especially to black people. Anything you say to them is either racist or offencive in some way, shape, or form.
No its really not that big of a problem anymore. I do laugh at the people that get pulled over by a cop and then accuse he/she of being racist. Seriously, that crap has to stop.
A lot of people who claim they are victims of racism, are full of crap, and just say that so that they can get out of trouble with the law, or benefit from it.

This is why racial discrimination will take ages to die; Ignorance.
Around this time last year a friend of mine was invited to the house party of someone he went to college with and he was allowed to bring as many friends as he wanted. It was a "bring your own bottle" party so we all popped into Tesco on the way there and i saw a deal for some 8.4% volume cans of cider that were priced at £1.50 for 4 cans. So i bought 8 of them and was well chuffed because i had only spent £3 on enough cider to have a good time when buying other brands would of cost a helluva lot more for 8 cans.
So we arrived and cracked open the drink and got down to business when all of a sudden a guy at the party calls me out. Having consumed a few cans i wasn't fully with it and so i didn't respond or say anything since i was happily drinking and joking with my mates. Then the guy thinks im ignoring him on purpose and gets in my face shouting stuff about me being a racist because the cider i was drinking had a red "K" on each side of the can. So it looked like i was drinking "KKK" cider, and considering the can is black he got even more angry about this.
Eventually i realised what he was trying to say and i told him i just bought it for the price and that he misjudged the situation, i wasn't ignoring him because i'm an "ignorant white boy" as he called me. Some of his friends and my own calmed the situation down and took him outside to chill out and my friend who is south american just laughed so hard as he sat rolling a cigarette.
But ever since that party i swear the world has taken political correctness to a whole new extreme level of madness when someone accuses another person of being racist just because they are drinking cheap cider which happens to have a K logo printed on three sides of the can. Needless to say ever since then i have never bought that cider again for fear of encountering a similar situation.
I'm white and i'm not racist at all but i actually feel uncomfortable talking about racism since everyone scrutinises what you say and takes it out of context in todays society.
Wiki link to the cider i was talking about.

In history when we're learning about Christianity they were asking dumb questions like "Was Jesus a Homo "Was Jesus a virgin?". I was offended big time :?
