Is there a difference between a pornstar and a prostitute ?

which is bs to me, i mean how do you deine an actor in the court of law ? this is why i hate lobbyist sometimes. Both ciggerate and porn lobbyists should feel ashamed of themselves.

In my opnion I think both are one and the same, and the difference here in america is just legal jargin put in place by corrupted politicans payed off by scumbag ponnography industry lobbyists and or bribers.

I could care less about legally, since prostitute isn't a legal term, but, according to the dictionary they are the same thing.

Not that I'm condemning either, people *assumed* I was in the last thread, I wouldn't, but, just because I support their reason of being, doesn't mean I'm going to white knight for pornstars and claim they are not prostitutes.

The difference between a porn star and a prostitute is the same as the difference between a cucumber and a pickle. All pickles are cucumbers, but not all cucumbers are pickles.

And it's the same way with the relationship between porn stars and prostitutes.

To get a legal prostitute here, you'd have to drive for a pretty long time... unless you're one of the select few who lives in the middle of nowhere.

A pornstar is kind of like doing a girl that's aids free and simply put more "Clean". A prostitute is pretty much the opposite. I am pretty sure we all would rather do the cleaner girl. So the biggest difference to me is their cleanness.

yes, pornstars get paid for getting filmed getting sexed up with safety. while a prostitute is just getting paid to have sex with a stanger without film and bigger pay. pornstars are famous, while prostitutes pay thier pimp what they get and split it.iam2green

Pornstars are proffessional, so are pros. In states where pros. are legal they are checked and screened before they are even allowed to go into the profession. when in the case of porn they all most the time just assume that their partner is clean because theyare a porn star, very few places take the whole testing thing far enough. on top of which some STD's are not detectable until it hits you and in men ALOT of the time are not noticed at all. the difference between pros and porn stars in simple that one is legal and one is not if prostitution was legal all the women who are pornstars would be classified as prostitutes because they are performing the same act getting paid to have sex. if the sex is on screen or not shouldn't matter only that it is being performed the same way and if protitution was legalized we'd have more money to kick into the system and women who were in the proffesion would be safer in more ways than just STD free.

Anyway, his argument is that the difference is with porn, the consumer is watching and not participating, but with prostitution the consumer is actually participating.

Therefore, porn is entertainment the same way a good movie is entertainment; youre watching people perform.

And I think prostitution should be legalized.
