Here is what I've watched

Cowboy Bebop

Trigun

Gundam Wing

Gundam Seed

Gundam Seed Destiny

Rurouni Kenshin

Bleach(so far)

Original Naruto and part of Shippuuden

Zero no Tsuikama

Ah! My Goddess first season

Scry-ed

Yu Yu Hakusho

some of Get Backers

Wolf's Rain

some of Darker Than Black (I didn't like how it was somewhat disturbing, more than at least some of the others I listed)

some of Yakitate Japan

I don't want to watch anime that are too perverted, have gay humor, or are too gory. Please list good anime.

OK, I read a little of the manga for it, and

*Warning Spoilers*

Light causes a woman to kill herself by writing in the Death Note. I wasn't really fascinated by that.

I'd highly recommend The Melancholy of Haruhi Sizumiya - it's funny, has some action in it, and really likable characters.

Other than that, Excel Saga is funny, although completely off it's rocker. The Monty Python of Anime is the only phrase I can describe it with.

Azumanga Daioh is my favourite, although admittedly the manga (books) are much better than the anime.

Full Metal Alchemist, there is some gore in it..but I didnt think it was "too much". I wouldn't recommend it to people below age 13 atleast, because its a bit violent..

Kiba, so far there hasnt been gore =p Its very good, funny, dramatic..and cute(not kawaii!)

Rozen Maiden, funny, cute, dramatic...dolls that fight eachother.. what more could you wish for? oh yeah, KUN-KUUUUUUUUUUN!

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, its real fun, strange, exciting, ensnaring.. and Kyon is kinda sweet

Death Note, very entertaining.

I've seen more anime, but cant think of any other good shows that arent too girly

Haibane Renmei, for one. One of the first episodes has some gore, but there's no fighting or anything. Be warned: it's quite depressing, though it has a happy ending.

Full Metal Panic.

The only Anime series with walking war robots that I like, mostly cause they're not in every episode.

It's basically about a young Sargent named Sosuke that has been in wars since he was little and therefor has very little normal sosial attributes and knowledge, he's part of a private military group that uses walking robots to solve conflicts. Then he gets the assignment to infiltrate a high school and protect a girl who's a little more then meets the eye.

Also the Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu series is great and had be laughing on several occassions, it basically tells stories on how Sousuke is in school and how his lack of proper sosial attributes cause a whole bunch of trouble for his classmates.

You also have Monster that is a sort of Drama/Thriller anime about a doctor that saves a young boy from death and the young boy becomes a serial killer several years later, causing the doctor too feel guilty and responsible and thus trying to make him stop.

Those are the ones I'd reccomend at the top of my head, might want to check out Hellsing too if you haven't.

Gunsmith Cats ftw!

Also: Ghost in the Shell (1, 2 and S.A.C.),any of Miyazaki's films, Spriggan, Tekonkinkreet, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Paprika, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. There's more, obviously, but my brain is fried after a long day at work. :P

There is Tales of Symphonia, based on a video game. It is very enjoyable and satisfying.
