I want to listen to Franz Ferdinand's self-titled first album, but it's not easy to do on YouTube and I don't have any money to spend on iTunes or at the store at the moment.

Is there a site where I can just find the album on there and start it, listening to the whole thing through with no interruptions?

Get a Zune Pass, you can try it for free. It's $15/month for unlimited streams and 10 "purchased" songs per month. That's the same as saying it's about $5/month for stream with a min/max of 10 $1 song buys.

Pretty good deal.

grooveshark.com is pretty good. If an artist is somewhat well known the site should have most of their albums.

Zune Pass is pissing me off. Grooveshark lookss like it'd be good for single song listening but I'm trying to do a whole album, and it only has like five songs off the album. I'll try AOL Music.

AOL Party sorta worked, but half the songs were broken so I gave up. The Listening Party doesn't have the Franz Ferdinand album.

But thanks for all your help, everyone.

You can listen to it on Myspace, though not interrupted. I'm testing out the Franz Ferdinand album right now and when I went to the second song I got a 30 second ad. I'm not sure if there is a limit... but I guess its worth a shot:

It has all the songs on the album, you just have to look in the right place. Click Franz Ferdinand in the "Artist" column and it will show you all the songs by them on the site, with all the albums listed on the left. The first album called "Franz Ferdinand" is the one you want.

One thing that's pretty dumb is that, even if you invite a friend, (i have the waiting-less version) they will register to an Open account, why the hell is that? Sounds like a waste of an invite to me, and when they can just go to the website and get it for free...?

If you could shake out if that's fixed i'm giving you an invite to the Invite version.
