We're doing Religion in school, and our teacher pretty much told us that God created a man and a woman etc., and the whole point of it was to get us thinking about God and how great he is...but it had the oppostie effect on me. I never thought about it before, but if God is real, why did he make humans? Why does he punish his own inventions? If he's the almighty, why doesn't he take away God? Why does he want Satan to "bow down to him" if God freed slaves in Egypt? Didn't humans evolve from monkeys? If people believe God created the earth and it wasn't "just there", who created God? How could God create himself? Why did God make Job suffer just to prove a point to Satan? Why does God not let us know he exists? How can we know the Bible is factual?
Ahhhh, does this bother anybody else? Your theories?
To be honest, I have sort of created my own theory throughout years of studying these controversial topics. I believe that in the beginning there was a god, however once he created matter and the space that surrounds us, and then evolution took it's course. And I mean going way back to the big bang (Which is not for sure), but the belief of evolving from a common ancestor of apes is included in my theory. I'm not sure if this is already a theory created, correct me if I'm wrong please. Everything in this life is much to complex to be created by nothing, there has been some divine intervention some where.
I believe there has to be a god. My reasoning is this, the life spark. You can take sunlight, water and rock put them together, but you still don't get life. Plus, if you look at are universe, there are trillions of stars out there. Each of those stars has planets of there own. I am almost 100% positive that there is at least a few more earth-like planets out there. On top of that there are trillions of galaxies out there, each with there own trillions of stars. Also, about the devil, I do not believe in him. I really don't want to go into it because I will probably offend some people. I will say this, I do not think he would create us, just to send us to are doom in a fiery pit.
Well, one thing I am totally against us coming from monkeys. If we do, what are going to be in the future?
The existence of God is down to someones faith. That's all. If you come from any religion i.e. Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhism (although Buddha was not a God), you believe in your own God. And how to know whether He exists? Again its the believe, not fact.

That my friend is called "Theistic Evolution" and is actually a quite popular theory :)
