When I had Chrome, there was a simple extension that make Youtube videos automatically HD.

I just downloaded Firefox, but there are so many extensions that I am lost. Is there a simple Youtube auto-hd add on for Firefox? thanks.

no good results. All I see is youtube download helper, but I down want to download videos. The only thing I see is Greasemonkey, but it doesn't work for Firefox 4 yet. So what do?

Its doesn't work anymore, Youtube removed it. There is no way other than extensions.
