I'm just a freshman right now, and I pretty much love it overall. I'm actually pretty disappointed that my first year is already almost through. I know one thing's for sure, I defianantly do NOT look forward to it ending.

- So what are you people's view on college? Agree or disagree w/ the fact that its awesome?

I'll be going next year. I can't imagine it being worse than high school. I'm majorly pumped.

My high school and college years were some of the worst years of my life.

Life can still suck, but I'd rather be here at college than anywhere else.

It's better than high school, but I'm so sick of being here that I just want to get my major done and get out of here.

College isn't bad but they really load you with totally useless classes. That's what highschool was for, the totally useless things like PE, yeah, PE once a week is really going to make you healthy  the entire system is flawed and designed to make you fail.

i don't like it to much. i don't think i need to learn algebra and other math things and literature writing unless i am a math or english major. i think if a person can write a high school essay then we should not have to take english class. i'm studying multimedia i'm going to be doing things like graphic design, web design, flash making, i don't think i really need math or english for that.

A very broad education can work to your benefit.

I love it to be honest. Its a Sixth Form college in the UK so basically you carry on at the same school after the end of year 11 but you don't have to wear uniform, you usually have around 2-3 lessons a day and the more annoying members of the year don't get in. It's awesome :D

i guess i see what ya mean with the pointless class thing, that is something i've been disgruntled about. But overall, i love college, i don't mind taking classes like history and stuff. Though I do get really fed up with having to taking math. But hey I like being optimistic I guess.

I love college. I'm finally taking classes about stuff I actually care about. The general ed. courses have also been interesting. I had no idea I liked philosophy or psychology until I had to take them. You get exposed to more variety in college.

Yeah but when you're forced to take things you don't want to take or you probably shouldn't take because you're generally bad at them it works against you. The dumbest course I ever took was a 3 credit class about studying and using search engines and crap like that, I couldn't drop it so I just didn't go and took a D.
