well there obviously isn't any undeniable prove of the existence of other dimensions because then we'd know if there are other dimensions or not but I'm sure scientist aren't doing things like the LHC trying to prove the existence of other dimensions just because someone imagined they exist

Read up on String Theory. Basically its the theory of subatomic particles that exist in multiple dimensions at the same time. Interesting stuff.

Well, we CAN prove that particles CAN be in more place than once. Take a laser (which is made up of light photons) and point it at a mirror. The mirror will have the red dot on it while simultaneously projecting that same red dot somewhere else in the room. If particles can be in more than one place at a time then this leads to the ideas of alternate universes.

read a little about the string theory in wikipedia and didn't really understand, I'm thinking about reading michio kaku's book to understand this things better

I don't think I could ever understand string theory... my brain would probably melt. But it still is interesting to know.

One thing we have learned from video games is that it is NEVER a good idea to try and open a portal to another dimension. Never.

Actually the LCH is being used to find the subatomic particles responsible for gravity. Also, many quantum physicist do believe there are other dimensions out their.

well actually what they are trying to see is the beginning of the universe but with that they are supposed to find a lot of things out like the existance of other dimensions, what you say and some other things

Actually I would recommend this video instead. There is a very small chance that the LHC could verify the existance of more spacial dimensions, but it is unlikely. We will probably never know until we can prove or disprove string theory, which isn't for awhile.

$ Of course there are other dimensions....in order to be in the 3rd dimension we had to pass the first two, duh!
If you can not tell I am kidding, I will weep for you
