Is there any way to get rid or the recycle bin on your desktop??

I'm wondering because i have a thing down at the bottom where all my icons are and my recycles bin is there but it is still on my desktop so I have 2 recycle bins. So is there a way to get rid of it?

Have you tried Recycleing one of your Recycle bins?

If you delete the recycle bin, it gets sent to the recycle bin...I would have to say no.

If you take your computer and throw it of a 3 story building i promise you , you won't be seeing that recycle bin for a while.

you have to do some stuff to the registry in order to get rid of it. you could google how to, but I would advise against it.

Just right click and delete it. It eliminates the icon from the desktop.

If you have two, then highlight one and delete it. Or drag it to the other recycle bin. Or right click and delete... I don't know.

If you try to recycle a recycle bin I'm pretty sure the world will explode...yep, my calculations just confirmed it.
