I plan on taking a long car ride, is there any way I can watch movies on my ipod and not become sick? If I throw a blanket over my head will it work?

Try keeping still, movement while riding in a car causes nausea, which is why playing ds doesn't help any ^_^ (totally me)

There are pills that prevents motion sickness.

AnimeKiller

There are patches that work much better. Motion sickness pills are somewhat of a ripoff because they do little to alleviate motion sickness.

The patch directly controls the fluids in your brain that regulate your body's sense of balance and orientation.

Just go with music or podcasts (like The Hotspot from this site for example). Motion sickness medicine might work, but really your best bet is just to not stare at anything like that at all. You're not going to be enjoying your movies if you have a massive headache or nausea anyway. I think throwing a blanket over your head would probably make it worse actually, as then no part of your vision would match the movement you feel.
