Immortality, for starters.
Verge_6
why does everyone say this?
immortality would be tough...for a while. But like all things, you'd learn to accept it.
And immortality is so subjective...is it Death Becomes Her immortiality, where your body is subject to the physical world? Is it Highlander immortality, where your body heals but you can still die via decapitation? Does your life end when your body is burned to ash or cut into five pieces?
Personally, I would value immortality above all else, provided I can die eventually (yes, I know that is not true mortality...more like infinite life). I've seen people die before; God willing, my parents will go before I do (I know that sounds bad, but hey...they got 35+ years on me and they'd hope for it too) and theyre as close to me as anyone. Loss is part of life, immortal or not.
Being immortal would jsut...be...awesome.
Imagine being able to speak dozens of languages
Imagine travelling all over the globe
Imagine incredible wealth from learning how to play economics and having the time to do so
Imagine loving, legitimately loving, many women and having all kinds of relationships (I don't believe in "the one", so this is acceptable to me)
Imagine seeing everyone you loved die off Imagine having everything you believed in not matter Imagine becoming a freak of nature as humanity evolves without you Imagine nearing the end of things to learn Weeeee, immortality....I imagine forming new relationships, new loved ones
I dont believe in anythign but humanity and reality, so I am set
I imagine I would evolve with humanity, or at the least be able to adapt. Either way, humans won't change, we change our environment and tools instead.
I imagine the end of things would be a nice conclusion to a few hundred thousand years of human existence...maybe even millions.
Like I said, my version of immortality is still subject to the end times/armageddon/mass destruction/suicide/etc.
