Say someone has set his/her prvacy settings to show nothing to non-friends, how can I come around this?

Yes I'm e-stalking someone.

you could send them a PM but that is about it.... unless you kidnap one of their friends and use them to find out what information you might want, but that would be crazy talk.... where could you get duct tape on such short notice.

Find a friend that does have the person on facebook. Otherwise, your stalking will have to wait until you friend them.

Facebook is a dangerous Website i do not have an account because i do not trust thier policies Really i do not understand why people dispose private information for this kind of public use.If you want a really good social network then choose gamespot they are extr-carefully there i can assure you

Stalking used to be so much easier. Nobody had the mind to change their privacy settings on their trash cans. And my binoculars work quite well regardless of whether or not you consider me your "friend".

Plenty of ways, though if you know this person IRL it's unlikely to reveal anything useful to you. You can easily get things like addresses and such but i doubt that's of real use to you and TBH just asking someone who knows them would yield the same kind of info.
