Is there something wrong with meh!?

So over a 24 hour interval I have had a count of 8, 20 minute long nose bleeds and have been going on 3 hour intervals. So uhh I am beginning to think something is wrong, any suggestions?

My sister had frequent nosebleeds and got her nose cauterized and has yet to have them since.

You should go to the hospital, just in case somethings really wrong. I have nosebleeds ALOT, but I'm in the same boat as Bloodseeker23, with my nose being too darn sensitive to hot and cold.Hellfire-1

I would see a doctor just to be safe. Probably nothing wrong, though, but there could be.

Since the air is dry... grab yourself a towel and run to the steam shower for moist. Or maybe you have nasal cancer.

COuld be allergies. With the swelling and edema in the mucous membranes of the nostrils, it can cause them to thin out and break easily. If he has a low PTT or INR then he could have increase clotting time. If he isn't on heperin or coumadin, then he shouldn't have an increase clotting time.

Are you blowing your nose a lot?

Are sticking things in your nose? tissues up the nostrils?

Both nostrils or just one?

Are you blowing out the clots later then it bleeds again?

If you answered no to all of those. I would suggest going to a hospital.

I think that is hospital material. You should see a doctor just to have it checked out.

I'd say go to the hospital, doesn't sound normal to me.

May be a deviated septum, I'd see a doctor or even go to the hospital pronto.

Drink lots of water and maybe get a humidifier for your room, maybe it has to do with the air condition and temperature.
