Is This A Girl Car?

So I have been looking around for a car and I found a used silver 2001 Pontiac Sunfire SE with decent miles and in my price range and I was thinking about buying it. However I have scene and heard a few people claim it's a girl's car and personally I don't see how. So I was just wondering what other people thought about it.

Any car can be a "girl" car and any car can be a "guy" car...everyone has diffrent tastes in cars. Ive see Sunfires turned into Sport Compact cars "Fast and Furious"-style.

Personally I like exotics like Lambos, Porshe and Ferraris.

My stance as well. A few years ago, a lot of guys made fun of me for the car I drove. A Ford Focus. They called it a f@g car. I drove it because they are cheap and get decent gas mileage. This was before gas prices sky-rocketed in the US...and the prices will sky-rocket again.

Anyway, when those people made fun of me, they asked why I wouldn't trade in the car to buy a truck or something. I told them that if anything, I would buy an even smaller car and that it would likely be a hybrid. Again more jokes about my masculinity. Then gas prices more than doubled.

Bottom line: people can make their dumb jokes and needlessly throw away more money on gas if they want to. It's their choice. I am who I am and I'm not ashamed of it. When people equate the vehicle one drives to that individual's masculinity or gender, it speaks a great deal about the person who is doing the ridiculing and said person's lack of character.

the only way a car can be "girly" is if its modified to look girly ie. pink, whats on the licsense plate, pink fuzzy dice etc.

id say my car is more "girly" than that one.

I drive a maroon 2000 Cadilac Catera, which some would say its a "girly" car, but i love my car, Girly or not:P

I agree with that with everything except pink fuzzy dice. They are pimp for everyone lol
