[QUOTE="StrawberryHill"][QUOTE="LZ71"]People who think certain cars cater to certain genders are morons. Just buy it if you like it.Dman0017
My stance as well. A few years ago, a lot of guys made fun of me for the car I drove. A Ford Focus. They called it a f@g car. I drove it because they are cheap and get decent gas mileage. This was before gas prices sky-rocketed in the US...and the prices will sky-rocket again.
Anyway, when those people made fun of me, they asked why I wouldn't trade in the car to buy a truck or something. I told them that if anything, I would buy an even smaller car and that it would likely be a hybrid. Again more jokes about my masculinity. Then gas prices more than doubled.
Bottom line: people can make their dumb jokes and needlessly throw away more money on gas if they want to. It's their choice. I am who I am and I'm not ashamed of it. When people equate the vehicle one drives to that individual's masculinity or gender, it speaks a great deal about the person who is doing the ridiculing and said person's lack of character.
well you like fantastic planet, so you can't lack too much character. :)Thanks. That's nice of you. Your sig always freak me out, though. ;)
