Just got this email:

First, it asks for a password so yes it is a scam...... Second, there are grammatical errors.

Definitely a scam. They'd never ask for your password in a mail. NEVER.

Its legit. They call later wanting your SS# to confirm your info is correct.

Yes it looks like a scam to me, it asks for your password and severel things are mispelt. If your concerned about it just call up MS and ask them yourself, DO NOT do anything with this email. If you think it's suspicious than it probably is, it looks like a phishing scam to me. Like I said contact Windows Live by phone yourself and don't trust the email.

Asking for your password would make it a scam. I doubt that its legit. Like other said, call them.

It's a wonder these actually work, I mean, pretty much the biggest rule, the first and the last rule and every rule in betwen on the internet is: No one needs to know your password.

I vote SCAM. They would never ask for your password. They could sift through old emails and find credit card orders and probably steal your money or something,

I wouldnt trust any email that didnt have the Official Nintendo Seal of Quality.
