Anybody been following that Jonathan's Card thing? Apparently, some guyonline offered up his starbucks gift card for people to go out and buy coffee. Others began to put more money on it in a kind of pay it forward/ random act of kindness trend. So basically you could go out and buy yourself a cup of coffee from this card and contribute some cash if you wanted to OR just contribute cash for others to buy coffee. Kind of like how some people will pay for the person behind them in a toll booth.
However, some cynical person decided that this project/experiment didnt fit his views of how things should be done. So he hacked the card and began to drain all the money off of it and onto his own card. He then bragged about it online and encouraged others to do the same. Of course, he states he's going to give the money to charity but did mention that he had enough money to buy an iPad . . . .
I can understand being cynical or disagreeing with someone's tact, but why ruin it? Just seems like he's just being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk. If he didnt like their project, why not start something he did like as opposed to just trash it? People should learn that their view isnt the only one in the world.
