Is Tim Tebow as polarizing as a figure as say Sarah Palin?

Or Bill Clinton? It's hard for me to see this as I live in Denver and therefore am a die hard Broncos fan.

(It might say I'm still lvl9 but on my profile page it says im lvl 10 so im posting anyways)

Tebow is more polarizing than abortion.

Firstly, SP rocks. ;)

Second, yea I would say so though I think the word polarizing is a little extreme. Most of my friends are from Colorado (Pueblo and Denver) and they are obsessed with Tebow however, when I see him, I just see him as a gimmick and flavor of the month. People will move on, every QB gets their spot light.

I don't think so. I'm not sure there are many people who actually dislike Tebow as a person, they just hate that media outlets all over the place were overhyping him. I think he's generally a good person but ESPN talking about him nonstop was f*cking ridiculous especially when there were so many better QBs in the playoffs.

On the other hand there are a lot of people who flat-out just can't stand Palin as a person.

Tebow gets attention, but if Denver is a mediocre team next year, Tebow will be like a pop song that's been burnt out.

roulettethedog

It might be rough for them, that schedule does not look easy. They gotta hope their opponents get lots of injuries or they roll over the rest of their division.

-6 games vs AFC West teams
-Ravens
-Bengals (who might be even better next year with their young players developing)
-Falcons
-Panthers (see Bengals)
-Texans (gonna be really hard if they're healthy)
-Browns (easy win)
-Steelers (at Pittsburgh)
-Saints (at NO)
-Bucs (easy win)
-Patriots (at NE)

Tebow gets hate because of the media specifically ESPN's love affair with him

Unlike Palin he does NOT deserve the divide

It is insulting to put a poor kid like Tebow(not a broncos fan by the way) in the same category as a person who puts her nose in political campaigns she has no business involving herself into

Tim Tebow is a likable guy who is at least sincere about his faith, he's just overexposed by people waiting for him to mess up (America's strange obsession with idolizing celebrities and athletes, and then watching them bleed). Sarah Palin is a hypocrite who uses politics for attention.

People who want to be polarized will be. The other 99.9% don't bother with such nonsense.

ESPN is obsessed with him. They talk about him like he is the only player on the Broncos. It's just annoying hearing about him all the time when he plays like **** and the defense bails them out for 3 quarters, he has one good drive and all of the sudden Tebow "willed" the team to victory.

Idk, I thought it was all BS too.. but after Watching the run this season where they won 7 of his first 8 starts this season, like.. Idk, the most incredible stuff happens when this kid plays. Stuff that just defies logic and reason... I mean once or twice I understand, a few fluke victories, that happens to everyone.. But holy god, the games against the Dolphins, the Bears, The Chargers, The Jets, and especially the freakin Steelers.. Idk how they won those.. Each time it looked almost CERTAIN they were going to suffer a horribly embaracing loss.. Only to come back and win it.

He has something special, I think if he really works on his game, he can be great. Michael Vick was horrible with accuracy when he first started but he got ALOT better, if he could stay healthy hed be one of the top qbs in the league because of all the unique things he can do.

My all time favorite band since I was 11 (I'm 27 now so yeah lol) And I got to see them Live in October front row center at a small venue. That was an experience to say the least. (I think I was borderline Hallucenating lol)

I almost feel bad for the guy. It's not his fault that everyone overscrutinizes him. ESPN just wont shut up about the guy.

Everyone is trashing the poor guy because he had in my mind a more than decent first season (Not counting the few games he played in 2010) But sportscasters have always been down on the Broncos. We go to the divisonal playoff game this year and they say next year were going to be misrable. They would of said the same thing even if we won the super bowl.

Look at the teams they beat. Besides the Steelers, he beat 0 teams that were over .500. Big Ben won 14 straight games his rookie season yet no one was saying he was an incredible quarterback, and for good reason. He was not the reason they were winning, it was a team effort (and he had a 60+% completion rate compared to tebow's 45%). Yet somehow Tebow gets all the credit when other QBs have done much better with less experience.

See my point exactly. Everyone hates the broncos

More because they backed into the playoffs due to the fact that their division sucks.

It's not hate, it's looking at things objectively.

then objectively speaking. How long do you think it will take for the Broncos to become contenders?

Depends how well Tebow progresses/if he progresses. Same with the defense - the defense was amazing at times but other times they laid an egg. Guys like Von Miller and Demetrius Thomas are great pieces to build with going forward.

I respect Tim Tebow over Palin, at least he's a lot more tolerable and less awkward to hear
