i doubt it but i wouldnt be surprised at the same time what with the lawsuits they have had its really seeming to be ripped apart but if it does im sure some new site will take its place
That seems highly unlikely after all of the money that was paid to acquire it. I think they would try adding unskippable ads to the beggining of videos long before they would close it. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that at some point, but I truly hope they don't. I have to say that it is really unclear to me just how they intend to make money off of the site above and beyond the bandwidth costs. Maybe they just figure that if the site sticks around long enough, that cost will become negligible as the cost of bandwidth decreases. I really have no idea what the creators or the purhcasers of that site were thinking with regards to paying for it. I assume they must have something planned.

So their supposed to keep investing money in a site that isn't making any money? I love YouTube and I hope it stays but it was a foolish investment on their part.
