ISIS VS Nazi, which is worsest group?

Both groups killed tons of innocent people who didn't follow their ideology, did great damage culturally overall. Which group is more worse in the annals of history OT? :)

ISIS at least the Nazi showed there faces.

ISIS just seems to kill random people for no reason and will stoop themselves to the lowest part of humanity.

At least the National Socialist Party did some great breakthroughs.

Decided to not use WMD

Lifted poverty and got out of great depression faster than the US.

Other than that, it was a brutal dictatorship that got a lot of Germans killed. Stalin probably killed just any many, if not more I think.

You can't compare a disparate group of terrorists to the the political machine that was the Nazi party.

Islamic State are just a bunch of murderous assholes. Nazis were a political party most of the time, associated with murderous leaders.

So I guess if we are going on a per-person basis, and excluding the leaders, then I'd say IS are the worst. You'd probably meet a nazi and could share a few pints with them and as long as you avoided the subject of race, would probably get along with them.

I imagine if you even tried to share a few pints or talk to a member of IS they'd probably tell you why drinking is wrong, get mad because you keep drinking and said they're full of shit, and then they'd just kill you in a weird why (either by sawing your head off with a bread knife, or setting you on fire in a cage) because, dammit, they have a vision of the world and beer does not fit in it.

Obviously big-picture wise Nazis were worse, but I'd still rather take my chances encountering a nazi than a fundamentalist Muslim.

Both never deserved a place in history. The damage ISIS has done so far has not been on the same scale as the Nazis but should they continue to exist, ISIS will be the culprit of similar devastating death tolls. The extremism behind both ISIS and the Nazis can not be approved of, and there's no lesser of the two evils here IMO.

They didn't used WMD's because they lost the war before they could figure out the nukes. They would have 100 percent used them if they would have figured it out.

I would say that the Nazi's were definitely worse given the scale of their atrocities.

Nazis tried to hide what they did. They knew what they were doing was wrong. ISIS believe what they're doing is right. I'm sure there is a bunch of psychopaths in ISIS but sill. Not sure which is worse: being secretive and killing people, or being delusional and killing people.

That even though Nazism was radically antagonistic to certain ethnicities/demographics and took their persecution to a monstrous extreme, it was still highly prejudicial to others. For instance, as a part of its "Lebensraum" ideology, Nazism sought to enslave masses of other ideologies/ethnicities/nationalities for cheap labor that was meant to sustain the vigor of the Nazi regime, which means that as a non-Nazi, there was a little chance that you would've shared a few pints with one.

Distinctions are that the Nazi party created their own ideology and stemming from events from WW1. As we all know, the Jewish peoples were the predominant target. ISIS have no ideology, they are just a bunch of opportunists who are defaming an entire religion just for their idiotic aims. The Nazi party had an entire social and economic structure with which to manufacture genocide. The two don’t compare.

Given the difference in actual threat, I think Nazism wins this one.

On the other hand, I have yet to hear about one good thing that ISIS does.

I guess technically Nazi's since the destruction they caused (so far) absolutely dwarfs what ISIS and other cavemen in the middle east have caused. I'm traditionally Jewish and have family that was killed by the Nazi's so that legacy effects me more than just historically.

That being said, I will say I respect certain elements about the Nazi's more than groups like ISIS and consider them superior in these regards. For instance, while Nazi's were racist genocidal scum the society they were building was at least admirable in their goals. They renewed Germany's economy, heavily invested in research, education, and many other facets to make Germany (well, at least white able bodied Germany) a global super power. ISIS on the other hand would love nothing more than drag the world kicking and screaming back to the middle ages.

Nazi had order. ISIS…eh..not so much. Just a bunch of lunatics with guns. Nazi were trained, educated, disciplined. ISIS are somewhat flawed with their motives. I find that Nazis seemed to have a more clearer view of their objectives. I dunno. Both are incredibly evil though.

The Khmer Rouge killed their people if the latter exhibited the least bit of education or independent thought, even some that pledged their loyalty. That's scary indeed.

ISIS is worse i think, since they believe in a magical god that rewards them for killing innocent people. But Nazis killed women and children in an even higher quantity than Isis. I dunno, they both don't care for human life at all. I don't think Nazis actually believed killing jews would get them into heaven, but the twisted minds of isis believe in all kinds of crazy.

So bottomline... both of them kill innocent people, men, women and children. But the Nazis did it much more efficiently which made what they did seem a lot worse. Isis don't have the technology or following to pull off what the nazis did. Nazis had an entire country, an advanced airforce/navy and army, and were very close to creating an atomic bomb. Isis isn't anywhere near that. In 1 day, the Nazis killed more people than Isis ever will.
