Really guys? End? Thats the best we've come up with? What about words like transform, transmutate, or metamorphosis?

You do realise the Aztec calender just ends in 2012. It does not say the world will end. Thousands of profits throughout the worlds history have predicted the end of the world, and guess what, not a single one has been right....

fact: metamorphisis is a term used to describe the process of quick physical changes certains species go through after birth. tadpoles to frogs, caterpillar to butterfly, etc. The driving factors are rapid cell growth (usually mitosis I would assume, maybe a bit of meiosis but I'm not sure if the animals have developed gonads or eggs in their early life form yet) and cell differentiation.Really guys? End? Thats the best we've come up with? What about words like transform, transmutate, or metamorphosis?

So ya, don't try and use it to describe the earth because it's got a very specific definition.
