I find it funny how a country like Iran wants to develop its own nuclear programme but is given the shaft by the UN because they are a "hostile" nation... while there is Israel, a very UN-friendly nation, saying they want to nuke Iran, in a blatantly hostile motion. Edit: Speaking of having no faith in humanity. I saw a documentary on PBS last night discussing modern racism towards Jews. It just helped the hole which contains my faith in humanity to grow that much deeper.

Israel won't nuke Iran unless they pose a "real" threat to them, Israel never used nukes during the six-day war when Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq all fought against them, why would they do it now?

they wont, they only reason that Israel hasent crumbled is because of the us, and i doubt the us would continue to support them if they nuked iran despite how much the american government hates iran, the worldwide outcry would not allow the us to stand up for isreal if this actually happens
Well except the fact for us is that there'll be millions of Americans crossing the border when the United States get's nuked, and all the radiation. Plus we're an ally, we're supposed to help so they'll probably nuke a large city, or a city with a base near it.

I said that very vaguely, I would of course do what Israel and many other nations are trying to do what they were been doing for months and still are, trying to come to some kind of democratic solution while putting their cultural differences aside. But alas, I see no end to this, and Iran is still building their weapons.

Although very true, they need to start thinking about doing something along those lines if they want to continue developing and advancing as a civilization. It only takes one side to compromise, if that happens, the other side should follow suit. It seems that both sides are too stubborn and proud to admit they have any failings.
The anti-Jewish propaganda put out on Middle-Eastern media is not helping at all. I still find it hard to believe that some people think Jews kidnap young Christian children and drain their blood to make motza. It is just absurd.

I agree with you on all counts that Israel is wrong to have threatened Iran like that, its just as bad as Iran saying it about Israel, however do you really think either side will come to a compromise just by talking? Unfortunately the intolerance and bigotry and greed on all sides is too great for that and will continue to escalate as long as politicians keep manipulating the people for their own benefit. Do you think Bush was upset about 9/11? Hell no, it enabled him to pass laws that stripped people of their rights in order to consolidate his own power with the support of the very people he was taking power from. The people in power in Iran will continue to foment hatred to Israel in order to blind their people from the ones really to blame for their losses: the politicians. The people in power in Israel (the similarity in the names never struck me before now) will continue to foment paranoia that their country may be attacked in order to justify invading another country first in order to benefit one group: the politicians. Tony Blair and all the people in Parliament over here in the UK will continue use scaremongering tactics in order to distract people from their milking the system while only benefiting, yes again, the politicians. Oh and just to make it clear, I'm refering to all people who play politics in government, not just the elected (or unelected) leaders of a country. A terrorist isn't someone who comes from the M.E. or is Muslim. Believe it or not, there are Christian and Jewish terrorists. :o I know, it's a shocker.
