Anyone else love this game?

1. What's the most you've ever won by? The most ownage that has been dealt to you?

2. Do you like the newer boards with all the bells and whistles or the old-school version?

3. How do you play the game? Do you put money in the middle? Send the player to jail after three roles of doubles?

4. What's your strategy when playing the game? Buy whatever you land on? Save up for the more expensive property?

I love Monopoly, but I haven't played it in years. And the last time I played it was on the PC.

We always had very loose rules. Trading properties, even loaning money! I once got someone in more debt than they could pay, and there was quite a ruckus over if she should go bankrupt if I wanted my cash back. One thing we never really did was auction off properties if whoever lands on them didn't want them. Head_of_games

We had relatively loose rules as well. Money in the middle for free parking, 3 rolls to get out of jail, trading however we wanted, and never any bidding for properties. I hate that idea. I'm intimidated by other players' rules though and I'm really not that good. But I've loved and collected the game for a while... I have around 20 games/versions. I used to play for weeks on end with my cousin and we'd use money from several games and get ridiculously vicious and rich. Fun times!

I love that game. My favorite is Pokemon Monopoly. :D

love the game. I go for the purple, orange, or red properties. cheap houses to build, and the damage to others is large enough to cripple them without bankrupting them :twisted:

one thing i've always wanted to do, play with a 20 sided dice. lol, you could lap the entire board on one roll

I don't really play it too often but, I have some good fun whenever I get a chance to play.

Rarely lost a game. Buy and expand everything, really the only stratagy. Other than that, it's a game of chance.

I prefer scrabble.

I love the game, but I can't stand playing it. People always have their own personal ruleset, so it's just annoying playing with different people.
It's the same with Uno.

Its fun but it takes ALL DAY to finish a game
