And he got his revenge by homering innings later.
Red Sox fans are bitter that their franchise will never win 27 world titles.
Red Sox fans will always rejoice that none of their players had to use PED'S to win any of those titles. And he got his revenge by homering innings later.

If there's any baseball player more deserving, I can't think of one. With one pitch, Ryan Dempster just became a Red Sox Hall of Famer. I hope this becomes a trend around the league: don't pitch to A-Fraud, just hit him with a baseball. He deserves it.TruthTellers
Thats an exaggeration.

Sound strategy. With any luck you can have half your pitching staff ejected by the 5th inning.

Not sure if trolling or ignorant.
Ignorant. I'm a huge Sox fan, but reading that now makes me laugh at how absurd that statement is.Baseball is such a stupid game, all those guys are roided up anyways, i bet the pitcher that hit Rodriguez went to a stall and injected his butt after the game. Worst game of all time, i don't even consider it a sport. If you want to see true athletes watch Basketball and Football(soccer).Â

Manny used some drug that's frequently used to mask PED's, but that wasn't when he was with the Sox. As for Ortiz, I haven't been following baseball closely for a few years now, so I'm not familiar with any accusations of PED by him.No proof whatsoever.[QUOTE="TruthTellers"][QUOTE="heeweesRus"]

Hahaha. Oh man. So much fail, TC. Sox blow. Face it.
But if Ortiz DID use PED's, he's the type of guy that you could say, "You know, he's such a nice man that I forgive him." With A-Fraud on the other hand, with his attitude and demeanor the only thing you can say is, "F*ck this d-bag, he deserves whatever is coming to him."TruthTellers
So, have you ever personally met either of them?
Thought not. You just hate the yankees because they win more than anyone else. That is truly all there is to it. But I don't expect you to admit that, or even realize that it's true, such is the nature of denial.
I hope A-Rod wins his appeal and has to be paid out by the yankees.
Â
Also red sox in charge of not roiding, lol.
I'd wonder what gave him the strength to hit those and would immediatly put a * next to that in the official scorecard.I wonder how sweet it must feel to hit a 446 foot bomb on someone who knowingly hit you just 2 at bats before it happened.

One time Ortiz PERSONALLY handed out candy to kids during Halloween. I'm such a curmudgeon that I work about 4+ hours of UNPAID overtime on Halloween so I have a legit excuse to not be home that night. With all the money he makes, I don't think A-Fraud has ever given children free candy.[QUOTE="Samurai_Xavier"][QUOTE="TruthTellers"] No proof whatsoever.TruthTellers

Well "allegedly" tested positive (these were non-binding, punishment-free tests and the records were sealed afterward), and he's since been suspended twice by MLB for testing positive. It's absurd to think he wasn't using while with the Red Sox.

Most batters wouldn't need too much to destroy a 3-1 pitch over the fat part of the plate.
Also, it's not like strength is the only thing needed to hit a homerun like that. The strongest man on earth couldn't do it, if he didn't have proper technique, practiced and perfected over years.Â
Barry Bonds may have been roided to hell and back, but that's not how he crushed homerun records. He also had one of the most flawless swings the game has ever seen, and THAT takes some serious talent.

Sounds about right. I suppose that's more than most people who hate famous athletes out of jealousy and frustration go off of.

I think Ortiz does just fine without steroids.

Without steroids most of those homeruns would be swing and misses or fly outs. Â Barroid is a blight on the game, he deserves a fate worse than pete rose.

Enjoy.
I'm a Yankees fan and really don't like A-Rod, but this kind of reaction is just puzzling to me. People were cheering that the pitcher deliberately hit A-Rod, not only once but twice. Hate all you want, that's just f*cked up.A-Rod's a dueche so this makes me happy.

Yeah, it was a low blow by the Red Sox, and worse that the umpire did not eject Dempster and instead warned the Yankees if they retaliated, which is total BS.Â
I hate A-Rod, but I was glad he homered of Dempster next at bat and that the Red Sox lost that game in front of their fans. Serves them right.Â
