but anyways, it's the weekend, why are you at home posting on OT instead of out doing something?

me, i'm at a party, but i temporarily stepped into my friends room in order to post this thread.

lol just kidding. i'm at my house, with only my dog to keep me company. i had work til a little after 10pm. a few coworkers that weren't working tonight were going to this "club" called Wild Bills but that place is lame and i have work at 11am tomorrow (today) and if i went with them, i was gonna be out late, so i decided to stay in. plus clubs aren't really my scene. so now i'm just litening to iTunes, eating pizza, and drinking Blue Moon (got a 12 pack for $7.99, what a deal!)

Haha, nice thread idea! I have had some extremely serious and horrific back surgery, and thus I am relatively incapable of anything remotely active outside of walking, so everything outside of school that I used to do -- lots of cello, piano, and cross-country -- is now off-limits until I have fully recovered. Erm, well... I can kind of play piano standing up, but not really. Thus, I'm more sedentary than I used to be, and thus I post on OT more than I used to, and on forums in general. Hell, I can't even sit down properly yet, so I'm kneeling on a fortress of pillows I have built up for myself for my longer gaming sessions. Also, I live roughly an hour away from the city where my school is, and thus where 95% of my friends are, and my parents are far too busy to drive me to go see them as often as I'd like. Thus, I usually chill at home and "hang out" with them through various internet and phone means. It's the start of a week-long vacation for me, though, so hopefully I will find time to see a handful of them this week. :) I suppose those are the main reasons.CaptainAhab13

For two reasons. a) Because I already went out twice this week (drinking) and I have made a personal rule that I wont go out drinking more than twice a week, and not 2 days in a row after 2nd year because I was drinking and going out far too much (at times 4 times a week, usually 3, and drinking heavily 2 days in a row just stared killing the liver, drinking a 12pack in a night at the frat house, or drinking 10-15 shots of booze (usually tequila) started having a long lasting effect). The second reason is because I have to mark papers and they are due today, so I had to stay in and grade all of them (which sucks btw). jonathant5
